Sohlara Villa is a lovingly kept Canarian finca in La Orotava, quiet, private, and wrapped in gardens, with a balcony that looks out over the sea and the mountains.
You rent the whole estate, the private pool, the sauna, the gardens, the terraces and all seven bedrooms, so your family, friends or group have the place entirely to yourselves. Laid out over three separate floors, each with its own entrance, kitchen and living room, there's room to gather and room to slip away.
It's a place to slow down and reconnect: sip a glass of local wine as the sun sets over the valley, cook together with produce from nearby villages, or float in the pool with Mount Teide on the horizon. Minutes from Puerto de la Cruz yet worlds away, this is northern Tenerife at its most authentic.

Yes, Sohlara Villa is rented as a private estate. The pool, gardens, terraces and every room are yours alone. Renting the full villa also unlocks the sauna and float tank, which are reserved for whole villa stays for privacy.
The villa sleeps up to 14 guests across 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, spread over three separate floor levels (300 m²). You can also book just the ground floor (4 bedrooms) or the lower floor (2 bedrooms).
From €1097 per night for the whole villa. For a group of 14 that works out at roughly €78 per person, per night. Private events get a personalised offer, just ask.
The minimum stay is 5 nights. We're flexible for longer bookings and can tailor a rate for weekly and longer stays.
Six bedrooms have twin beds (two singles each) and one has a bunk bed, with extra sofa beds in two living rooms. There are eight private bathrooms. Each of the three floors has its own entrance, kitchen and living room.
Arrival is from 5:00 PM (until around 10:00 PM) and departure is by 11:00 AM. Let us know your arrival time when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Minimum age for the lead guest is 18, and a valid ID and card are shown on arrival. No parties or events without prior approval, no smoking indoors, and no pets. A refundable damage deposit (up to €300) may apply.
The whole estate, private pool, sauna, hot tub, a kitchen on every floor, WiFi, linens, towels and free private parking. Please note the sauna and hot tub can't run at the same time (an island electrical limit). Catering, a private chef or a paid airport transfer can be arranged on request.
